CTS Offers TWAIN Drivers for All Desktop Check Scanners

BURLINGTON, Mass.
– May 21, 2008 – CTS North America today announced that
it is including industry-standard TWAIN drivers on all of its LS series
desktop check scanners.
TWAIN drivers give users in the remote deposit capture market a low-cost
way to scan checks and other documents. By adding the driver to the
CTS LS series of check scanning hardware, users add full-function MICR
scanning capabilities along with industry-standard TWAIN image capture.
“Our intent is to provide a migration path for the remote deposit
capture customer to easily and efficiently add the increased security
and performance of CTS LS scanners as their business grows and matures,”

when banks, credit unions and other check processors become aware of
the low cost and increased productivity and security delivered by CTS
hardware they will begin promoting the advantages of transitioning to

Scanners which rely on TWAIN drivers are being offered by EasCorp, a
