CTS Partners with MTS for North American Distribution
AMI Imaging and PMI
Imaging Systems of Florida handle sales, logistics and support…
BURLINGTON, Mass.
– June 18, 2008 – CTS North America today announced that
it has signed a marketing and distribution agreement with MTS Software
Systems Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, MTS operating units,
AMI Imaging of Mt. Laurel, N.J. and PMI Imaging Systems of Florida,
Pompano Beach, Fla., will sell, service and provide logistics in support
of all CTS desktop check scanning equipment for the North American market.
MTS has hired a national sales team that is focused on bringing CTS
products to the market. The MTS operating companies, AMI Imaging and
PMI Imaging Systems of Florida, will also handle order fulfillment for
its sales and for other CTS North America channel partners. The companies
will also apply their expertise and logistics experience to provide
repairs and maintenance for CTS products in the U.S. and Canada.
Commenting on the relationship, Gary Schwartz, MTS president said, “We
were drawn to CTS because of its technology, which is really amazing
compared to other products in its price range, and its potential in
the market. CTS is truly a worldwide player with a dominant market share
in many international markets, including Europe, South America and Asia.
Although less well-known in North America, we intend to make the market
aware of its products’ great price/performance. We’ve hired
some of the best people in the business for our national sales team
to make this happen, and we look forward to representing CTS.”
“By working with AMI Imaging and PMI Imaging Systems of Florida,
we have found a partner that understands the strengths of our product
line and has the enthusiasm and the skill to represent CTS in North
America,” commented Alex Trombetta, CTS North America CEO. “They
are dedicating the necessary resources and applying their expertise
to help us raise awareness, sell and support our products. This will
bring our market penetration to the next level.”
